Dartmouth Bound visitation programs. Our 2013 sessions are scheduled for:

* Summer Program: July 28-31

* STEM Program: September 28-October 1

* Native Community Program: October 13-16

Some highlights of each program include:

* Dartmouth-funded transportation to and from campus

* Overnight accommodations in Dartmouth's residence halls and meals provided by the College

* Opportunities to visit classes and participate in a selection of special Dartmouth Bound seminars taught by members of our faculty

* Mentoring by current Dartmouth undergraduates

* In-depth college application sessions with Dartmouth Admissions staff

* Financial aid workshop with Dartmouth Financial Aid staff

If you are not familiar with our program, each year Dartmouth's Admissions Office selects a distinguished group of approximately 90 college-bound rising seniors from across the nation for the Dartmouth Bound: Summer Program, 50 seniors for the STEM Program, and 50 seniors for the Native Community Program.

Students are selected on the basis of their academic achievement, personal character, and potential for college success. The Dartmouth Bound programs are designed to provide opportunities for students to visit our campus, gain exposure to academic life and opportunities in an Ivy League setting, and learn about the admissions and financial aid process.

Program participants will also have the opportunity to explore the intersection of academics, service and leadership in discussions with Dartmouth faculty and current students. Many of our participants will be first-generation in their families to attend college, or students facing financial barriers to their pursuit of a college degree, or students from populations that have historically been under-represented in higher education, but we encourage students from all backgrounds with a demonstrated interest in the above themes to apply to the programs. We seek to identify a participant group that will allow students to interact with a diverse, active, and stimulating group of peers. Many past participants have identified the program as an invaluable aid to their college planning.

Please visit our Dartmouth Bound site<http://www.dartmouth.edu/admissions/bound/> to learn more about the programs and retrieve the application materials. The application deadline for the Summer Program is Monday, June 3. Applications to the other sessions will be available in August.
