All juniors in the state of Michigan will take the Michigan Merit Examination March 5-7, 2013.  East Lansing High School Students will be bused to Michigan State University on the first day for the ACT Plus Writing. Day two and three will be administered at ELHS in the auxillary gym.

• March 5  ACT Plus Writing College Entrance Exam
• March 6 Work Keys Job Skill Assessment and Michigan Mathematics
• March 7  Michigan Science and Michigan Social Studies

Every college and university in the United States accepts an ACT score for application. If there is a question about whether to take the ACT and/or the SAT, you may consult a particular college website. Some high schools recommend juniors take the ACT in February to increase familiarity with the logistics and pacing prior to the MME (Michigan Merit Examination).
